As one of our generous sponsors, Alsco has been providing linen services at our camps nationwide for over seven years – but our relationship started long before that. 15 years ago, Steve Barden (then Branch Manager for Palmerston North, now Group General Manager) received a call from a local Camp Quality volunteer about the supply of sheets and towels.  

“I hadn’t heard of Camp Quality; however I spoke to some friends. One of them had been a helper on one of your camps and told me about how awesome they were,” shares Steve. “I provided sheets and towels for the local camp and then ended up getting agreement from the wider Alsco team to provide free linen etc to all your camps. The rest, as they say, is history.”  

Each region knows that they can rely on sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, tea towels and floor mats delivered pre-camp and collected for laundering post camp. This service is an enormous help to our camp volunteers, and it helps us provide comfortable arrangements for all of our campers.  

Alsco has been supporting local communities in New Zealand for over 120 years. Prioritising superior performance alongside charitable giving is their bread and butter, according to Daniel Smith, Alsco’s Sales & Marketing Manager.
