What are the rewards of being a Companion?

HAVING FUN!
Our camps are packed with activities where fun and friendship are combined with achievable challenges, inspiring children to have a go and overcome their fears.

FRIENDSHIPS FOR LIFE
Being part of Camp Quality is like being part of a big family. You gain a sense of belonging and make lots of new friends, some life-long.

MAKING A REAL DIFFERENCE
Campers are given the opportunity to try new things. Many Campers arrive at camp shy and quiet and leave with a newly found confidence.

TRAINING
We provide a structured and well resourced training programme where you will build a support network, learn about the Camp Quality philosophy and the role of a Companion.

GAINING NEW LIFE SKILLS
The relationship building, team work, leadership skills and self-development learnt at Camp Quality can benefit you in other areas of your life.

GREAT FOR YOUR CV
Wow future employers with your commitment to volunteering in the community.
Other ways you can volunteer
So being a companion is not for you? A successful camp also requires a mix of other volunteer skills.
You can join a regional committee, help with the programme and activities, training, fundraising, camp photography, videography, transport, become a camp nurse, kitchen hand, meal server or cleaner.
