Alex Moore's Quest for Camp Quality South was a success!
Alex and teammates Kenton Palmer and Nathan Roberts took 13.5 hours and 71,205 steps, in the rain, to make it the 58 kilometres from our Camp Quality South location at Kelvin Heights Queenstown back to Cromwell.
Thanks to everyone who supported and donated to the 'Quest' - Alex has raised over $2,500!!

Alex and Paula's 6 year old twin daughters, Sophie and Grace, attended our Camp Quality South 2020 Summer Camp. They were reluctant to send the girls, since it was 6 nights away and the longest they would have ever been away from them. But the girls blew them away and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week.
On camp each camper has their own companion who volunteers their time to be with their camper 24 hours a day for the week. The girls’ companions and the other companions were amazing, and Alex could see the bond the girls formed with them when camp finished.
So...in order to help give back and help keep Camp Quality running, for his 39th birthday Alex and a few friends undertook a ‘Stand By Me’ adventure/hike from the Camp Quality South location in Queenstown back to Cromwell.
Thanks Alex and happy birthday!!
